Creekview Dental Updates

June 26th – Update

The dental hygienist shortage continues. (See the June 12th update below for more information) At this point, it looks like we will have temp coverage for less than 10 days in July. We are contacting the highest priority patients to schedule them on those days. Patients that are not high priority and had appointments previously scheduled in July and August will need to be postponed.

Dr Haag is available during our regular work hours. He is seeing both emergency and non-emergency patients. If you have any dental concerns that you need addressed, please contact us to schedule an appointment. If you have non-emergency treatment that you have been postponing, we are happy to schedule that around the emergencies.

Please let us know if your insurance has changed since your last visit. We want to have the current information in our system so we can give you accurate estimates. If you are in a situation where your benefits may be discontinued, please contact us right away and we’ll do everything we can to schedule you for your cleaning and any treatment needed before your deadline.

We continue to follow all current recommended COVID protocols to keep you and our dental team safe. Click here for more information. If you have any questions or concerns about scheduling an appointment, please call or text us at 651-738-8204 or email info@CreekviewDental.com

June 12th – Update About Dental Cleanings

We are sad to report that our wonderful hygienist, Sarah, has made the very difficult decision to stay home with her 10 year old daughter. Her last day was Thursday, June 11th.

Due to numerous reasons related to the Coronavirus, there is a shortage of hygienists right now. We have been advertising and searching for a replacement, but have not found one yet. We have also contacted multiple temp agencies. We are one of many dental offices in this position, which makes the search for a replacement even more challenging. We have secured some Temp coverage in July, but it doesn’t look like there will be any in June. As days are covered, we will be contacting the most overdue and highest priority patients to schedule them.

As sad as we are to see Sarah leave, we completely understand and respect her decision. Family is the most important priority! Hopefully her absence is temporary. In the meantime, we will continue doing everything we can to find a hygienist. Thank you for your patience at this very challenging time.
