I received my degree as a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Minnesota and, prior to that, earned a degree in Cell Biology and Neuroscience from Montana State University. I have served in the military throughout my adult life: first enlisting in the US Army after high school, during which time I was deployed to Iraq, and then later serving in the Montana Army National Guard, US Air Force, Montana Air National Guard, and currently in the Minnesota Air National Guard.
I enjoy all aspects of general dentistry and am passionate about continually refining my skills and learning about advances in dentistry. I completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency through the US Air Force. In addition to my experience as a general dentist in the Air Force, I practiced in my hometown of Billings, Montana, before relocating to Minnesota in 2021
I am committed to providing complete oral care: This includes preventive care to reduce oral health issues in the future and comprehensive dentistry performing restorative procedures (fillings, crowns, and bridges), root canal therapy, extractions, implant placement, implant restoration, and bone/tissue grafting, among other dental services. Additionally, I will be certified to provide Invisalign treatment to help with tooth alignment and conscious sedation to ease dental anxiety for patients.
I grew up in the Montana outdoors and love fishing, skiing, and simply being in nature. I also enjoy cooking and grilling and am always experimenting in the kitchen. I am happily busy raising 3 young boys with my wife, who is also in healthcare, and love our family time together.
