Meet Dr. Blackwell

Dr. Brian Blackwell received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota after earning a degree in Cell Biology and Neuroscience from Montana State University. He has served in the military throughout his adult life, beginning with the US Army after high school, where he was deployed to Iraq. His service has also included the Montana Army National Guard, US Air Force, Montana Air National Guard, and currently the Minnesota Air National Guard.



Dr. Blackwell enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and is committed to continually refining his skills and staying current with advancements in dental care. He completed a one year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency through the US Air Force. Before relocating to Minnesota in 2021, he practiced dentistry in his hometown of Billings, Montana.

Dr. Blackwell is dedicated to providing complete oral care for his patients. This includes preventive care to help reduce future oral health issues, as well as comprehensive dentistry such as fillings, crowns, bridges, root canal therapy, extractions, implant placement, implant restoration, and bone and tissue grafting. He is also certified to provide Invisalign treatment to support tooth alignment and Conscious Sedation to help ease dental anxiety.

Dr. Blackwell grew up enjoying the Montana outdoors and continues to enjoy fishing, skiing, and spending time in nature. He also enjoys cooking and grilling and is always experimenting in the kitchen. He stays busy raising three young boys with his wife, who also works in healthcare, and values spending quality time with his family.
