Gentle Dental Care for Growing Smiles

Supporting Healthy Teeth from Early Childhood Through the Teen Years

Pediatric dentistry focuses on helping children develop healthy oral habits while providing age appropriate dental care in a comfortable environment. At Creekview Dental, we like to see children for their first dental visit between 18 months and 2 years of age, followed by regular visits every 6 to 12 months.

Early appointments are designed to be low stress and educational. During your child’s first visit, a gentle visual exam is performed along with show and tell to help them feel at ease. Advanced light technology may be used to check for cavities without poking or discomfort. As children grow, visits may include cleanings, X-rays when needed, fluoride treatments, and continued guidance on brushing and flossing.

Dental Services for Children and Teens

Our pediatric dental services are designed to support healthy development while addressing common dental needs for children and teens.

Checkup and Cleaning

Regular checkups and cleanings help monitor your child’s oral health and prevent cavities.

Dental Fillings

Small cavities are often treated with tooth colored composite fillings. Larger cavities may require stainless steel crowns.

Dental Sealants

Dental sealants are a thin, BPA free protective coating applied to the grooves of molars, typically around ages 6 and 12.

Dental Sedation

Some children feel anxious during dental visits. Sedation options may be available to help keep your child calm.

Space Maintainers

Baby teeth help guide adult teeth into proper position. If a baby tooth is lost too early, a space maintainer may be recommended.

Sports Guards

For children who play contact sports, custom fit sports guards help protect teeth, gums, and jaws from injury.

Building Positive Dental Experiences Early

Encouraging Healthy Habits that Last a Lifetime

Early dental visits help children feel comfortable at the dentist and learn the importance of good oral hygiene from a young age. Consistent care supports healthy tooth development, reduces the risk of cavities, and allows potential concerns to be addressed before they become more complex.

At Creekview Dental, we focus on creating a calm, supportive environment where children feel at ease during their visits and parents feel informed and confident about their child’s oral health and ongoing care.

Compassionate Care for Kids and Teens

If your child is due for a dental checkup or needs preventive or restorative care, the team at Creekview Dental is here to help support healthy smiles as they grow.
