Dental Technology at Creekview Dental

Modern Tools to Support Comprehensive Dental Care

Dr. Blackwell is continuously researching and implementing modern dental technology to support accurate diagnosis, efficient treatment, and a more comfortable patient experience. By using advanced imaging, digital scanning, and in-office milling technology, Creekview Dental is able to provide informed care while helping patients better understand their oral health and treatment options.

  • CBCT Machine

Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) provides detailed, three-dimensional images of the teeth, jaw, and surrounding structures. This technology supports precise diagnosis and treatment planning for procedures such as dental implants, extractions, and complex restorative care while minimizing radiation exposure.

  • Iris Intraoral Camera

Iris intraoral camera technology allows patients to see what Dr. Blackwell sees during their exam. High-resolution images are displayed on monitors in the treatment room, helping patients better understand their oral health and treatment recommendations.

Creekview Dental also uses Sirona PrimeScan and PrimeMill technology to design and create custom crowns in-office, often completed in a single appointment. PrimeScan captures accurate digital impressions, and PrimeMill mills the crown the same day, reducing the need for temporary crowns and additional visits.

  • iTero Intraoral Scanner

The iTero intraoral scanner allows for digital impressions without the need for traditional impression materials. This technology improves comfort and accuracy while providing detailed images that help support treatment planning and patient education.

  • VELscope Oral Cancer Screening

VELscope technology enhances oral cancer screenings by helping detect abnormalities that may not be visible during a standard visual exam. This non-invasive tool supports early detection as part of Creekview Dental’s commitment to preventive care.

  • Odyssey Dental Laser

The Odyssey dental laser allows for more precise and conservative treatment of soft tissue procedures. Laser technology can reduce discomfort, minimize bleeding, and support faster healing, improving the overall patient experience.
