Comprehensive Adult Exam

What to Expect

We are, undoubtedly, in the business of teeth but more importantly, we are in the business of people. We not only care about your dental concerns, but we care about YOU.

When you come to our office for a Comprehensive Exam, you will first have the opportunity to meet with Dr. Haag and our treatment coordinator in our consultation room. We will invite you to share your dental needs, goals and past experiences. We will also review your medical and dental history and discuss your budget and insurance benefits so we can formulate a specific treatment plan to accommodate all of your goals related to your dental health and aesthetics.

Next, we will move to one of our treatment rooms where we will take any necessary X-rays. This is followed by a comprehensive examination performed by Dr. Haag. This exam includes use of our Intra-Oral Digital Camera followed by a visual assessment and VELscope oral cancer screening to determine the current condition of your teeth, gums and soft tissue. After your appointment, Dr. Haag will study all of the information gathered and create a custom treatment plan for you based on your current dental condition and your goals. We want to be sure to have enough time to discuss Dr. Haag’s recommendations and to answer all of your questions so we will schedule a follow-up appointment to review everything.
